How I do to use these poses on body shop?
You will need to install the bodyshop mechanic http://txprincessshansims.blogspot.com/2010/01/guide-for-installing-bodyshop-mechanic.html
In order to use the poses with the mechanic
Unzip them into your folder ...My Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2\Config\
Then you will find them on the list of poses next time you run BodyShop Mechanic.
Select the one you want to use on the drop-down list, and run BodyShop.

I have a problem ... before joining this blog, I did a download on MTS2 of poses to the body shop. Not knowing where to place the file, put in the folder Downloads.Abri the Body Shop and to my surprise, the adults with poses, women and men, children and teens ... ok, but if I want make a sim without pose? If I install that program that you said I could change poses or I should take away what I put in the Downloads folder? D:
You can change the poses with the bs mechanic but only if the poses are installed in the Config folder not the Downloads (whatever you put in the dl folder will start with Casie_Anim and you can copy it to your Config). And each time you want to change a pose you must close the Bodyshop and restart it with a new pose selected. If you want to run the bodyshop without any poses but the original then just run the bodyshop without opening the bs mechanic. Hope this answered your question.

Hi, here I am again ... I installed the Body Shop Mechanic, downloaded poses and put them in the Config folder. I opened the Body Shop Mechanic and chose a pose, but when I opened the Body Shop, the pose was another (I chose Stand_4, but in fact, the pose was Stand_7). What I do to change the poses?
That is strange that the numbers are mixed up like that. To change the numbers just go into the config folder and rename the file just be sure that the name is in the same format Casie_Anim so that it will work properly.

I'm sorry to ask that here but I search the shower-proof mesh that you used for your "pachelbel's canon". Because I create this sims in my game and when she take a shower or a bath her body don't appear.

I have a problem i downloaded the poses but the poses won't show up in the Body Shop Mechanic. What should I do?
If the poses don't show up then they are most likely in the wrong folder be sure to put them in the *Config* folder not Downloads
can we only use the poses in body shop mechanic.do they show up in the game if we put them in the config folder because i dont want to use them in body shop i just want to make my sim pose with them and make a video ? ? :)

hello sorry for the late reply! im having a mojor problem :( i put the poses that were suppost to be just in the mechanic(im guessing that means body shop XD) in my downloads folder and now none of my poses or animations work in game! im trying to find it and delete it from my folder but ive thousands of thousands of downloads! i cant find it :'( what should i do??
The easiest way that I know how to locate the files would be to use Delphy's Download Organiser http://www.modthesims.info/download.php?t=227925
You should be able to locate the files easily by their name or the date that you put them in your Downloads folder.

i got Delphy's Download Organiser what is the name of the box is it just girls posebox?
All files are individually named because each pose has to be changed with the bodyshop mechanic not a posebox in the actual game. These files all start with CasieAnim_[TXPS] there is a little search option on the bottom left corner when in the Organiser if you type Casie this should pull up all bodyshop animations that should not be in you downloads folder.

hi yer i just wanted to ask HOW DO U DOWNLODE THESE POSES i have tried so many times for some reaseon i downlode it but when its finishet downloding its a movie not a zip code why is that happining and when u click on it it comes up with a movie but i cant watch it couse my copmuter wont let it ?????? please please help i want those poses so i can exchange my sims. oh and another thing how do u get those fancy backgrounds if your wondering what i mean go to the pose box and there is a pic of a sim girl standing in a nice pose and the background is really good graphics ?????? please ansewer on sims2.com.au im jenygirl23

Do you have a tutorial on how to make these poses work in bodyshop?
I would love to do some conversion of certain pose boxes too~
BodyShop Mechanic Tutorial Just follow the same steps for the "install replacement lighting" for the bodyshop poses and they will work in bodyshop. Also, Pose boxes have to be converted into Animation poses(I used Milkshape) before they can be used in BodyShop.
